Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Hello, I have completed a Master Dog Training program with Highland Canine Training, LLC. I learned and engaged in everything from Obedience and behavior modification, police k9 (detection, trailing) to service dogs. I have worked with a variety of dogs both large, small, Aggressive and non aggressive. I also work part time at a doggie daycare and boarding facility in Charlotte, NC. Dogs are truly one of the greatest gifts a family can add to there family. But one of the biggest barriers we face is communication between humans and dogs. We often misinterpret what they need and want. I love being able to help owners make this connection and break this barrier so that not only humans but also dogs can live a happier and healthier life together.

We have a male German Shepherd that had some dominance issues before training. Now he is a much better dog. He doesn’t pull me when we walk on his leash. He responds to his commands when before he would ignore us. We had some fence issues and he got out and he came right to us without running or giving us a hard time. I highly recommend Highland Canine of South Carolina!!

Adriane worked with my dog Willow on being anti social around other dogs and people. Willow had always been untrusting of other people and dogs since being scared by a group of kids while out for a walk as a young pup. Willow can now be approached by others without trying to retreat.

My very energetic lab, Sonny, and I loved training with Adriane. After 2 other training classes left me frustrated, we were recommended by a friend. Sonny struggled with pulling while on a leash and could (if he tried hard enough) open the front glass door and chase after anything moving. Calling him or getting him to whilingly come back would take forever! Safety was also a big concern, we have a good size yard, but it was not uncommon for Sonny to end up running towards the road. Adrianes approach is systematic, but tailored to each dog. Exactly what my sweet, but difficult baby needs! Her sessions are fun and engaging-and most importantly, Sonny is always excited to see her, and to me that speaks volumes! We are still training, but as of right now I have a dog that calmly walks and runs by my side without pulling me. He has taken off, pushing past the door once- but I calmly called him back- AND HE CAME BACK TO SIT AT MY FEET! I can not tell you how impressed I am. I know a concern for me was time and money, but this has been worth it. I love feeling like I can trust Sonny to be out and about with me. He is calmer when meeting people and other dogs and just all around less impulsive. I am very thankful for Adriane and recommend her to anyone!

I recently rescued a dog, Ghost, who had some trouble with potty training and also pulling on his lead. I tried for weeks to potty train him. But working with Highland Canine it only took him a week to go outside. Also it’s so nice walking with him now that I got help with his pulling. Greatly recommend Highland to anyone who needs that little extre help.
