Fishing Buddy Charters

Introduction: We will be fishing the fruitful backwaters of Estero Bay, Sanibel Island and Pine Island Sound. Depending on the time of year we will generally target the popular Snook, Red Fish, Grouper, Tarpon and Trout species. There are plenty of other fish in the sea like Flounder, Pompano, Mackerel and more! About the Captain: John was born in Saint Petersburg, Florida and is a child of the mid sixties generation, the youngest of four children. John's parents transplanted to SW Florida from the cold north like many do. The only boy in the family, and being from a much easier place in time than we currently live, John often escaped the house filled by his sisters and would walk to the end of the street to his personal paradise,Tampa Bay.As early as the age of six John would spend his days fishing, all day, often past dinner time and was constantly in trouble for being late to dinner. Coining our current tag line "Fish Till You Drop!". John's love of fishing continued into his teens, and he would work for bait and tackle at several of the local beach bait houses. ​A lifelong angler John decided to get out of the corporate world of IT, and pursue his dream of being a Professional Charter Captain.Today the dream is a reality, and we are happy to serve you with a variety of fishing and boating options through our company "Fishing Buddy Charters". ​John is also an experienced drummer, loves all sports, especially football "Go Bucs!", enjoys cooking and growing his own vegetables.It is our desire to provide you with the best possible fishing experience!
