FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing is always client and needs dependent. I will usually take into consideration all that is required to make the event successful and give an estimate from that. Some things may be so simple that it may only be in the hundreds, but then other may need months of conferring with the customer because of what is involved which will range into the thousands.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Although an initial reference from the information posted per request is helpful, I feel it is better to get as much details as possible in order to know what the client is really looking for. Sometimes it's almost exactly what is requested, but more often there may be things that I could help the customer realize that would make them feel more at ease and inspired to make additions or changes to what they first thought.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing music professionally for 18 years and actually have a degree in Music from Texas Tech. The diploma was good for some collegiate experience, but the real learning comes from doing concerts and events that hone not just the musical techniques, but the interactive and professional aspects even more so. It is also good to know the equipment needed and be forthcoming with all information, as well as punctual to all engagements to be performed.
