Introduction: High Peaks Flooring Installation is a small, independent flooring installation company that offers personalized, quality installation with over 30 years of experience. I am the actual person who will be doing the installation...not sub-contracting it out to just whomever is available. I only use the highest quality installation materials and all carpet is power stretched to ensure a quality installation that will last. My company is registered with the state and fully insured. I enjoy this creative outlet. I get a great sense of satisfaction from providing great, quality work and making my customers smile. I firmly believe in doing it right the first time.

A past vinyl install had gotten wet and the glue was not holding the 2 pieces together. I was afraid I needed a brand new piece of vinyl to fix my problem. Michael deGroen assured me that the seam just needed to be cleaned out and new glue applied. He took his time and repaired it as if the floor was his own. The seam looks great and should last for a very long time. Michael came high recommended..he was very pleasant, easy to communicate with and a very knowledgeable installer. I can highly recommend Michael deGroen for your flooring needs!

Michael worked with our carpet and padding. We were at a loss on where to source the padding and before we accepted his offer he provided us a third party contact, which was very noble of him. More importantly his installation was perfect, from the kilz used on the base floor, to then properly seam bonding the moisture barrier padding, to then invisibly seaming our carpet together, and power stretching. We have carpeted stairs in our home and he managed to wrap the carpet around each stair giving it a very professional and welcoming look to those who enter the home. Typically carpet can look out of place on stairs, but not when you have this company doing the install. I'd certainly hire again.

Each installation is priced per yard or sq. foot...depending on materials. Repair work is priced per job. I don't believe in "hidden" charges.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Find out the specific needs of the customer. What materials are to be installed? What type of installation is needed?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of installation experience. I was taught by my dad...who instilled an old school work ethic of quality, dependability and accountability.
