Introduction: We are a personal training studio that focuses on function and health, not just appearance. It all starts with the initial evaluation. We don't just measure your fitness metrics, but your ability to move functionally. We address the underlying issues that cause problems most other trainers fail to detect. We create for you a truly individualized fitness and mobility program because we've assessed each persons unique starting point. Our training will teach you how to not injure yourself in the gym, how building resilience against injury, pain and dysfunction while losing the fat and building muscle. Our workout system, known as the NeuroFunctional Fitness Approach, is a compilation of a variety of different fitness systems. We're a little different from conventional personal training for a few reasons: 1. The Fascia. Each methodically designed workout starts with myofasial release to break apart adhesion and loosen up muscles 2. We focus on corrective exercises and functional movement to get your body moving how it's supposed to, not building huge muscles or lifting heavy weights when you shouldn't be. 3. We utilize strength training and fat burning cardio in a safe and effective way 4. We offer customized nutrition solutions based on your individual needs and goals 5. Last, but certainly not least is one the most important (and best feeling) parts of our system. After each workout, we utilize more myofascial release and PNF Stretching (like a quick massage) to recover you quicker and have you feeling your best. Quite simply, we love that the work we do truly helps people feel better, move better, and make positive, healthy changes in their lives. We love the 'aha' moment when a client realizes they are now able to do something that they have never been able to do, or haven't been able to do for 20 years.

I've been Dave Fatula's client since December 2014. I am very picky about whom I work with and Dave has exceeded my expectations in every way. He is knowledgeable, creative, committed - and fun. Best of all, as a 52-year old woman with very specific physical strengths and weaknesses, the Functional Fitness system Dave developed and the customization he offers has enable me to quickly and safely increase my muscle mass and improve my stability and mobility. I've tried strength training at home on my own, generic workouts at the gym, various boot camps - and all were short-lived and demoralizing experiences. Working with Dave, I look forward to my twice weekly sessions and always leave feeling energized in body and fantastically calm in mind. As for the integrative bodywork he incorporates into each session, I was admittedly a skeptic at first of its value, but I soon became a believer. It is that extra element that pulls it all together. Perhaps the biggest proof of my high level of satisfaction in Dave's services is that six months ago, I persuaded my husband to start working with him as his mild back pain became severe. Thankfully, soon after he started a regular program with Dave, he became pain-free, and now is regular client as well. We both consider our sessions to be an extremely worthwhile investment in our current and future health and happiness and expect to be clients who benefit from Dave's expertise on fitness and natural coaching talent for years to come. I would give him ten stars if I could!

Detailed diet information for lowering cholesterol that no doctor I have had is even aware of. Functional exercises to increase flexibility and function unavailable at physical therapy.

After over a combined two years of physical therapies and chiropractic treatment, I found Dave. A car accident had left me barely mobile (impinged nerves, minor sciatica, and minor arthritis). Within two months of consistent service with Dave, my recovery began to yield results beyond what any of the previous modalities had offered. Dave is professional, compassionate, and consistent. I highly recommend him!
