- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began working in the legal field as a paralegal. After working as a paralegal for several years, I began law school. I continued working as a paralegal (in family law) throughout law school. Since my graduation from law school and passing the Texas Bar exam, I have worked in law firms that primarily handle family law cases, along with some criminal and wills/estate planning.
