- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$70 - 1 Hour massage $100 - 1.5 Hour massage I accept most forms of payment including cash, check, PayPal, and credit cards.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is helpful for the client to describe their expectations for a massage session and how they are feeling (i.e. are the shoulders extra tight, has she been feeling particularly stressed or tired, is he wanting deep tissue work or does he need more calming/gentle modality). I also like to know about any previous injuries or illness and about what the client typically does for work and leisure. This helps me know how to best approach working with the client in a way that is both safe and that will be most beneficial. As the massage progresses, I will invite feedback from the client on whether the pressure and contact is meeting their needs. The client will remain mostly covered by the draping sheet during the massage. Each area receiving massage will be undraped and redraped as the massage progresses. After the massage concludes, I will step away to give the client time to dress. With Thai massage, the client should remain dressed in comfortable loose clothing as might be worn to a yoga class. Payment is due at the close of the session. I accept most forms of payment including cash, check, PayPal, and credit cards.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my certification from the Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, FL. Additionally, have received training in Hot Stone massage and Thai Massage & Yoga. As well as working with individual clients, I have provided massage in a chiropractic setting.
