FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All web projects are different, making pricing tiers incredibly hard to streamline. Our process for quotes involves talking directly with you to define your needs and price them according to budget and timing needs. With that said, here are some basic prices I quote for some of the standard requests I see on here: ______________________________________________________________________________ Website Design: ___________________________________________________ 1 - 5 page site, includes logo, graphics, mock-ups, layout, and basic seo principals: $1,000 - $1,500 __________________________________________ 5 - 20 page sites (includes all above too): $2,000 ______________________________ E-Commerce Site: $1,500 - $2,500 ________________________________________ Site Re-Design/Additions/Support: $500 - $1,500 _______________________________________________________________________ Internet Marketing Plans: ______________________________________________ Basic research, set-up, training and ongoing support: $1,500 _______________________ Basic w/3 months ongoing support: $3,600 ____________________________________ Basic w/6 months ongoing support: $5,800 _________________________________________________________________ Logo Design: _________________________________________________ Logo design, unlimited revisions: $300 ___________________________________
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we obtain a new customer we work really hard to build a strong working relationship. It's important to get to know your customers and figure out how they work so we can adapt to them. I always try to conduct in-person, or phone consultations to all customers needing web design services. The best way to get the most accurate quote is by emailing me directly at rg (at) rgweb.us. I love this site, and hope to gain some really great clients from it, but the lack of information I get makes it really hard to give an accurate quote for your specific scope of work. Please feel free to reach out if you want to discuss your needs in more detail. Web design can be incredibly stressful without good communication and a strong working relationship. At the beginning of each project we will put together a detailed working plan along with a long list of questions that will help up refine and define your companies needs. Check out our web planning guide free on our website to get an idea of the things we look for when designing a new website.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've had a love for web design since I got my first computer at 12 years old, and ever since it's been love! I'm a self taught web developer, design, photoshop expert, and seo and marketing planner, and have had a successful career in web development and design for over 10 years. Starting out doing small web projects for friends and family quickly grew into a nice career, servicing more larger sites and clients. I've worked with over a dozen companies in my short professional career, and have loved every minute of it.
