Introduction: My name is Jennifer Stirling and teaching is my passion. I have been teaching private trumpet lessons for over thirteen years. I recently moved from Thatcher, Arizona where I was an adjunct faculty member and provided Private Trumpet Instruction at Eastern Arizona College. I am a graduate of Arizona State University where I studied Trumpet Performance with the world-renowned trumpet teacher and soloist, David Hickman. I have performed with the Boise Philharmonic, West Valley Symphony, Mesa Symphony, and I am currently principal trumpet for the East Valley Mormon Choral Organization. I am featured on several albums including "Come Ye To Bethlehem," "To Be American." I am also the primary editor/manager/transcriber for Lindseystomp Music and have a trumpet sextet, "Fanfare of the Bells," published through Hickman Music Editions.
I pride myself in my ability to creatively problem-solve and tackle issues from multiple angles. I know very well that every student is different and that not all learn in the same way. So I have learned to teach various techniques that may work for certain individuals, or how to teach the same techniques and concepts in various ways.
I am also an Arizona native and graduated from Mesquite High School in Gilbert.
I take pride in seeing my students improve and flourish and would love to coach you and help you to reach your musical goals!
