FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During our first Personal Training session, I'll take a health history. I will also include a brief questionnaire to get more information about your short and long term goals. From there, I'll perform a balance & fitness assessment. We'll discuss your goals timeframe.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified through the American Fitness & Aerobics Association of America, NESTA, and currently teach Cycle and Bootcamp, in addition to Personal Training. I also have a BS in Neuroscience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I struggled with my weight & health for many years. At my heaviest I was 100lbs overweight. As I reached a healthy weight & fitness level, I sought my certifications to help others do the same. As I did my research, I realized there's a lot of misinformation out there about proper form, intensity & duration. My goal is to provide the most sound advice based on the latest evidence. I work 1:1 with clients, couples, or in small groups because they are truly unique, as are their bodies and how they respond to a fitness program.
