Dear James, Thanks for your message. Since you don't know how to accept polite declines due to your customer's changing circumstances, then it is better off I'm not doing business with someone so disrespectful. But allow me to inform you why my “cheap” self no longer needs your service: 1. A deal is not a deal if you change your prices on your customer. I contacted you for lawn work, and wanted a quote for mowing the lawn every 2 weeks. We exchanged messages, I called you twice, and during all of our conversations, I was very clear that we needed lawn care every 2 weeks. In each conversation, you provided me with a quote for $35 per mow. So now you tell me that the price is actually higher if I wanted the grass mowed every 2 weeks vs. weekly. I understand the rationale that it may take you longer to mow a lawn after 2 week’s worth of growth, but an honest business person would have been upfront about the potential for prices to increase. We would have discussed it and perhaps I would have never hired you in the first place had I known all the details. You did not do that, and waited to tell me after the first mow that your prices are actually for every week, and that is a bait and switch. That kills any trust a customer would have for your business. That’s not a deal. 2. Customer’s needs change. You run a business. Your business needs change, your schedules change, and shocker, your prices change. All are normal and understandable. So why is it that when a customer politely tell you that their needs have changed, you feel the need to insult them? Regardless of whether you were able to provide a service to someone once, or on a continual basis, it is absolutely uncalled for that you would personally attack them for canceling service they no longer need. I may have contacted you for lawn care, thinking that I needed it for the summer and fall, but if I’ve found a different solution that works for my family, how does that grant you the right to call me “cheap”? Do you make a habit of insulting all your customers, Mr. Combs? Or just the ones you you change prices on? As luck would have it, the world is full of other lawn care companies that can provide me with the same service that you did, but at a better rate. In the event that I do need the lawn mowed again, now I know that not only is your service more expensive, it also comes with an unprofessional, ill-manered person who will insult their customers for canceling service. I’m sorry you wasted your time by coming all the way out to an area where you told me you normally service, but based on your shifting words, who knows if that’s even true.

There are two sides to every story when they contacted me to cut their lawn the grass was like 8 inches I had to triple cut the back and double cut the front she told me when we first discuss price that is going to be every week that's why I said $35 then after I cut it they change their mind and said every other week then I raised the price to $5 she didn't like that so her brother found another company to come and cut after I already cut the 8-inch grass and got it looking nice I could never meet one-on-one with these customers do to the customers daughter was in summer always out of town and the customers parents who the yard I was cutting did not speak very good English so if anybody changed anything it was the daughter not me she should understand that every two weeks will take me longer to cut then if I could do it every week not to mention more wear and tear on my equipment I'm there to provide a service which I did it looks very nice when I left these were the type of people that just wanted something for nothing thanks and have a great day

Kept callin and setting up times, but he never showed. I'm out of town, so when he set up times to show my wife changed her schedules so he could get paid quick. Poor customer service. To this date has not showed to do the job.

. I talk to Jim every time I set up an appointment it rained at this time Jim was out of town what I gave when I gave him my first quote he told me all I needed was an impost aniline and 6 rails. So that's what I bought that's what I gave him a quote for when I got there and needed more material at this time Jim is back in town I'll call to let him know that it would be a little extra due to material cost he got upset and told me not to show back up that's why the job has been done to this day when I was talking to Jim he was at the local bar ask him if you come and meet me you should know everything I could do to get the job done he just refused so there are two sides to every story
