Tony quoted the best estimate of all the Thumbtack electricians and two others I received. I watched his work closely as I thought that might mean he would pinch corners. This was not the case at all. He did beautiful neat work that met all code requirements. I kept his card so I could recommend to family and friends in future. I will have him back soon for another room remodel.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will give a basic high end quote on this website, but once contact is made and I learn a little more about the issues needing to be addressed I can usually work out a little better price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been an electrician for 27 years. I served out my apprenticeship back in 1995 after 4 years of schooling. I've worked in every facet of the electrical world from tiny residential fixes to large automation projects and plc programming in the manufacturing world.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ensure that the contractor you hire has liability insurance.
