Introduction: Hi! Eric Killingsworth is brand new to Thumbtack! Eric is a published Wedding and portrait photographer with locations in Santa Clarita California and Granbury Texas. Eric photographs all over the Los Angeles and DFW Texas area. He has photographed hundreds of weddings all over California and also loves traveling for destination weddings. He has photographed weddings in Oregon, Pennsylvania. Nevada, Utah and Georgia. He just recently expanded his business to Granbury Texas to offer his services to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Growing up in the state of Oregon, becoming a photographer was not something I had ever imagined or even considered as a career, nor something I would have such a passion for! Before hanging up my raincoat and heading to the sunny land of So Cal, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to model in the fashion industry. I was blessed to work with many different types of amazing fashion photographers from all over the world. Luckily, I was able to subconsciously soak in the different types of lighting, set-ups, and body angles! I still do enjoy Fashion Photography but capturing a bride’s excitement on her big day or the spirit and heart of a child while at play, that is true photography. Having a son of my own I truly live for those moments.I simply want to remain true to the subjects of my work, as well as my artistic vision and edge all while having fun. I am not just your average guy with a digital camera; I am someone who loves capturing time, moments, and raw emotion. Wedding Photography is an art all in itself. It requires all types of photography, portraits, landscapes, action and product shots and I love them all! I want my images to tell story. My style of photography is non-traditional and contemporary. I would describe it as high Fashion meets modern photojournalism. As a photographer I hope only that my work is a reflection of the passion I have for creating a beautiful image that can be cherished for all time. I currently reside in Valencia California with my wife Sarah and our son's Ford and Gunner. We have been married since July 13, 2013 and were married at the Newhall Mansion venue in Piru, CA. My wife Sarah gave birth to our Son Ford Vaughn Killingsworth on March 22, 2015 which as been life draining but freaking awesome! We just adding another baby boy "Gunner Vaughn" Killingsworth on September 7th, 2017. When My wife Sarah isn't working long hours at the hospital as an RN she loves to help out with styling engagement sessions and handling some of the client communications. Eric has been fantastic to work with, he did the photo session for my fiancee and I. He was so incredible to work with, all of his shots were beautiful and more then I could have ever imagined. He worked really well with us, neither of us has had any experience with photo's, and they came out amazing. My fiancee even forgot to bring her change of clothes to do our more fun photo's and he was able to do another shoot with us to get those fun goofy photo's we were looking for. His work speaks for itself, I highly recommend looking at his website and sitting down with him. He had us hooked from the first look at his work, and he has been nothing but a pleasure to work with.

Eric and Killingsworth Photography were an absolute pleasure on my wedding day! Eric also took our engagement photos and the way he makes the scenery look so spectacular around you is amazing. It was a very hot summer day for this shoot and he made my then fiance, and now husband, and I so comfortable and encouraged that we were getting great shots. He and his assistant kept me so at ease on my wedding day. I never felt rushed and knew we would be getting some beautiful pictures. As someone who isn't very comfortable getting my picture taken, I completely trusted Eric to find the angles that worked best and make me look beautiful! We also got sneak peeks very quickly after the event and everyone was asking for more! I've gotten so many compliments on all of his photography and family and friends have repeatedly asked who I used. Can't recommend Killingsworth Photography enough. Let this be one wedding decision you don't need to stress over!

Eric photographed our engagement and wedding, he was amazing! When we met with him it was clear how his personality matched his passion and creativity. He was friendly, helpful, and very responsive anytime I had questions. His work exceeded our expectations and he was enjoyable, natural, and so much fun to work with! He was able to capture every special moment that meant the world to us. He worked quickly and efficiently to get through our photos so we were able to dance and enjoy our wedding. We were blown away by the details, the emotions, the feelings, and the stories the photos told. We will continue to go to Eric for all our photography needs. The photography was absolutely amazing! Although we had to deal with unexpected rain on our wedding day, Killingsworth Photography took advantage of such an opportunity and blessed us with some of the most beautiful rain photos I've ever seen and memories that we will cherish forever. Our friends and family both were astonished by our photos and we are more than happy that we got to work with such a great photographer.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
That I offer several different package options depending on their wants and needs. I can always design a custom package that would fit more in a clients photography budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically like to speak with the client over the phone to get to know them. If the client is close to distance than a meet and greet in person is even better. I do all my contracts, documents and invoices online. I try to make it as easiest as possible. Each client will have access to their own personal portal which they can view at any time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been photographing weddings since 2012 and have photographed hundreds of weddings. I've completed hours of workshops and plan on teaching wedding photography in 2018.
