- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
typically we start with a consultantion where we will discuss the service and what the client is looking for from there we will assess everything from hair type, hair condition, hair goals, maintenance , budget , products etc. The first appointment will be longer to make sure we asses everything and then from there the maintenance of the style tends to be less time and money. In salon services include a head massage, wash, blowout , and style.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained for 1 year in wella education. from there I trained for another year in aveda education and now I am doing ongoing education in cutting and color through davines stylist. I've taken an aveda balayage and color class, I've taken Paul Mitchelle color and cutting classes. I have done online education through Matt Beck, Guy Tang ,and California based stylist .
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved doing my own hair and it's always been something I have done for fun. I wanted to go into a career that I can wake up everyday and enjoy going to. So I gave cosmetology a try and I don't regret it !
