What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job is different and quoted for each customer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial visit, inspection, report.
Service performed, down payment if required.
Work completed & final payment
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 20 years in the construction trades. I understand how homes are built and where builders flaws allow wildlife to gain easy access to your home. With my decades of hobby experience in hunting and trapping, it is a natural fit to perform Nuisance Wildlife Control. Our pest control services are an extension of our business. From roaches to bedbugs, wasps to mice, we can help you with your pest problem!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to start my own business in Nuisance Wildlife Control when while doing research, I found several things: 1) There is only one other licensed NWCO in my county, and its not a full time business. 2) The "big guys" don't offer their services near me. 3) Where they do, they charge way too much for what they provide. 4) The "big guys" don't have licensed professionals at your job. They are allowed to have one licensed guy for 10 unlicensed technicians! At Get Your Critters! LLC, I possess the knowledge and the license and I am the one who does the work.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for insurance, and ask to see their license.
