I worked with Eddie on a recording of Appalachian music. It was a pleasure to work with him on this music project. Also he is a professional ESL teacher, as am I. We both studied in graduate school together at George Mason University. He was very meticulous about his academic work and went on to a career in academia. He also has traveled to China with his teaching. He is someone who has a clear sense of his own cultural roots, yet is very open to other cultures, both educationally and musically. He included a Chinese musician on his Appalachian project, for example. I would highly recommend Eddie McGee either in academia or as a musician. - Esther Haynes

Eddie is a versatile musician on guitar, piano and mandolin and is a wonderful person and musician to have at any function. I highly reccomend Eddie and have always had excellent expierences with him through the Steinway gallery and working with K-12 groups.
