FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My time is billed at $200 per hour in 6 minute (.10) increments. The Attorney-Client Agreement explains my billing practices in detail. When necessary, I offer a payment plan.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

After an initial phone consultation, if a potential client is interested in representation, we meet in person. At this time, the client shares all documentation related to their case, review the Attorney-Client Agreement, and I give the client an overview of what the next steps are, a general idea of how I anticipate their case will move forward and options to consider. Together, we formulate a plan of action.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire someone you feel comfortable talking with about both strengths and weaknesses of your legal issues. Open communication is imperative for an attorney-client relationship to function to your greatest benefit. Make sure you understand the attorney's billing practices and ask questions when you need clarification. Ask what the attorney requires if you, as the client, and what you can expect from the attorney.
