Introduction: I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at South Florida Center for Couples and Families. I have been providing high quality therapeutic services since 2013. I specialize in children, adolescents and family issues. I also help couples increase trust, identify current stressors in their relationship, and most importantly improve communication. I focus on the client's strengths as their biggest ally to achieve their goals and lead the life they desire. My expertise ranges from conduct problems at home and in school, to poor self-esteem, separation/divorce, to depression and anxiety in children and adults. I was born in Venezuela and am fluent in english and spanish, leading me to understand different cultures and backgrounds. I am looking forward to continue developing therapeutic relationships and help you reach your full potential. I enjoy helping families reorganize themselves and improve their communication skills. I help parents maximize their parenting skills and gain confidence in handling every day concerns with their children. I have also helped couples regain trust and remind them why they decided to commit to each other in the first place. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At South Florida Center for Couples and Families we provide a 15 minute phone consultation to make sure we are the right fit. We strive to provide quality services from the get go to make our clients feel comfortable an at ease. Come in for your first session for a brief assessment and determine goals to be achieved throughout your treatment process. Usually, you can start yielding positive results in as little as 3 sessions, as I focus on the solutions vs the problems.
