Introduction: I am a Licensed Massage Therapist practicing in downtown Hamilton. I offer totally individualized truly therapeutic massage - for relaxation, wellness, healing, and integration. I specialize in deep tissue massage and in helping my clients experience meaningful changes in the way they feel, but I also hold sacred the responsibility of creating space and maintaining an environment where it is possible to really step out of the rest of the world and let go, if only for an hour or two. Relaxation is a mental, emotional, and physiological state, and when you get there, amazing things can begin to occur - from the inside out. I charge $65 for a 60 minute session, $100 for a 90 minute session, and $135 for a two hour session. For an additional $15, you can upgrade to a premium session where we will use a thoughtful combination of the tools I have found to be most effective throughout nine years of hands-on experience - cupping, hot stones/heat therapy, and more. I offer discounted prepaid packages for those ready to commit to regular self-care. These VIP packages include all of the extras for no additional charge, available with every session. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You will be required to complete an intake form detailing your relevant health history at the beginning of your first appointment. This information is necessary to enable us to craft the most appropriate and most effective treatment for you and your unique circumstances. There are contraindications for massage - conditions, medications, and events that would guide us toward or against using certain tools or techniques in your treatments. These are real safety concerns. Communication is key, and this thorough intake process is a cornerstone of my work - and the value I am able to bring to you and your life through massage. We will talk about how you're feeling, how you've been feeling, and how you'd like to feel before we start every treatment.
