FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a standard fixed pricing for my inspections. A General Home Inspection runs typically $300. That fee is good for individual homes up to 3000 sq. ft. Additional units such as detached garages or multi unit homes come with an extra fee. I base that extra fee on approximate sg footage of the other unit. More information on my pricing can be found on my website.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer contacts me for an inspection I usually ask a few questions to learn clearly exactly what their inspection needs truly are. I then give a more accurate price if it is different then what I have quoted her. I then attempt to set up an appointment that best suits their time schedule.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken extensive courses on inspecting a home from top to bottom. I am required to take 24 hours of continuing education every year. This allows me to keep up to date with modern building practices and in turn better serve my clients.
