FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing can vary depending of the project that is requested. Generally for stone veneer we charge $8.00 a sq. ft. Concrete depends on the size and labor involved in preparing the site. If a site is already prepped and ready to pour we generally charge $1.20 a sq.ft. to finish. If we prepare the site, depending on the amount of prep work required, we charge between $5.50-$6.50 a sq. ft. to prep, pour, and finish. This includes materials and labor. Brick and block are per the site and size.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advise I could give a customer who is looking to hire someone to complete a project is to not base the selection solely on price. I have seen to many homeowners that decided to take the cheapest route and were not satisfied with the work that was performed. Ask the work provider questions. If they seem unsure or tell you " I will have to get back with you on that." to many times, they may be the best choice. Get a time-frame before hand, that includes start and finish. I've seen some "professionals" perform jobs for under market value however they also treat it as such. They will put the job off for weeks and sometimes months, not returning phone calls or messages. See if they have pictures of their work. Other customers' opinions are nice but that customer's standards may not suit yours. Better to see the work for yourself.
