Introduction: It's an Aberrant Life offers a wide range of photography services with competitive prices, and quality. Each session offers the use of two photographers, my husband and I, to make sure all of those special moments are captured! We're a down to earth, easy going pair to work with... so there's no pre-shoot jitters necessary! With It's an Aberrant Life Photography you can always expect professional quality photos, no matter the occasion. The most important thing to us though, is that you come out having an enjoyable experience, and love your final shots! I love being able to see a person's passions, love, and personality unfold before my eyes! It's so exciting to be able to photograph someone and see their face light up when they see what we've created together!

Wonderful atmosphere and vibe with Aubrey. She was very patient with us getting into poses and the final shots look like they cost a lot more than we paid. I would definitely recommend her to everyone.

Aubrey did an amazing job with my bridal portraits. She made me feel at ease and gave great guidance on how to pose when I was unsure. She kept me calm and was able to get real laughs for the best candid shots. On top of it all, she constantly asked me if I was comfortable or needed anything. I would recommend Aberrant 10 out of 10 times to friends and family!!!

Aubrey and David are awesome to work with! Aubrey has been capturing my memories from high school prom, senior pictures, a maternity session, and now we have my babies milestone pictures scheduled! They are patient, fun, and so affordable for the quality of work they offer. I wouldn’t pick anyone else to give my money or my time to. They always know how to capture just what I had envisioned, with somehow bringing our personalities and happiness out on photograph! With Aubrey being both an artist and a graphic designer, anything is possible. SO WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's An Aberrant Life Photography tries to have competitive prices while providing the highest quality of work, services, and relationship with our customers. Whether you get our base package, or our highest package you can expect to receive the same quality of work across the board. If you would like a breakdown of the different packages we offer, you can visit our website's about page, there is a link to our price guide under the Photography description. As for our promotions and discounts those are usually offered through our social media platforms. We're active on both Instagram and Facebook @itsanaberrantlife so feel free to check us out!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually our process is pretty straight forward, we like to keep things light and simple around here. We also try to work with the customer's schedule as best as possible. Here's a timeline of our process: - Get in contact with customer - Discuss client's desired package and what is included - Pick a date and location for the photo session - Client fills out booking/client info form with a $45 deposit to secure their appointment time. - Check in with client week before photo session to make sure everything is still going as planned. - The day of the photo session arrives, and photos are taken by either me (Aubrey Troutman), or both my husband and I depending on the type of photo session. We figure two is always better than one! - 48 hours later client can expect a sneak peak of around 2 to 3 photos! - Final photo proofs will be sent to the client for approval at around 10 to 12 days after the photo session. - Upon approval the client will receive their final professionally edited digital photos, and will be able to pick their print choices if included in package or purchased additionally. - Printing and proofing process then varies upon individual job. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been working for a graphic design firm serving all the big corporate cosmetic companies for around 5 years now. We do everything from logo, flyer, catalog, poster, corrugate, to all other types of design. Photography has always gone in tandem with my graphic design. I'm a proficient editor, and photography and composition has always come naturally. My husband who often shoots with me has a natural eye. We make the perfect team and can be trusted to provide you with professional quality work.
