Julia created logo designs for banners that we use at my college campus every year for three significant, campus-wide annual events—World Heritage Day, International Education Week, and Multicultural Awareness Week. The first logo she created was for the World Heritage Day banner. It was so well done, and we received so many compliments from students, faculty, and staff for this design that, when it came time to create the other two logos, we could not even think of going to anyone other than Julia. And she did not disappoint.
All three logo designs are just superb. They capture the spirit of the event perfectly—better than the event planning committee or I could have imagined. For each of the three jobs, I sent Julia an e-mail describing the nature of the event, its significance, and its purpose, and she ‘got it’. I loved that. It meant that she paid close attention to what we wanted and even understood what we hoped the logo would express.
I particularly appreciated that she not only sent us a ‘draft’ design first, but also each draft had a number of slides with variations of colors and fonts. This allowed us to select our favorite design (which, btw, was not an easy task, because all versions looked beautiful).
I also appreciated that Julia was very sensitive to our deadlines and delivered both the draft and the final version within the time-frame we established. In addition, she was very responsive to e-mails and very receptive to questions and concerns.
Not only would I use Julia again, but also, whenever a friend or colleague asks me to recommend a creative designer, without a doubt, I name Julia!
