- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My service call rate, hourly rate and new equipment install rate are all fixed. I charge the same price to a customer in Centreville as I would to a customer in Clifton or Great Falls. I also do not increase what I charge for after hours or weekend calls. I personally don't know of any other companies that follow these guidelines.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will thoroughly go over all of the customer's equipment, not just the repair, to let the customer know the overall condition of the equipment. Sometimes it makes sense to repair and other times to replace, but its always the choice of the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After I retired from the Army, I returned to school and acquired the education necessary to earn my masters' license in HVAC/R. I continue with my training at regional seminars to keep current with new equipment.
