Tim - I wanted to say Thank you for coming to our rescue in the heat of summer. I know with the 1st big heat wave of the summer, you were swamped with calls, so I truly appreciate you squeezing us into your schedule and getting the AC back on within the same day. Then again, when the lightening took out our system, mid-summer, you were able to quickly diagnose the problem, provide an immediate solution and give us a couple options as to how to fix it for the long term and stay within our budget. I appreciate all the work you have done and the time you took to explain the problem and solutions. Thanks for being so helpful and professional. When it was the hottest day of the year this past August, Veteran Mechanical (VM), LLC came to my rescue to replace my broken HVAC. Their lead tech, Tim was what I would be the most proficient technical expert I have ever encountered. The only thing that exceeded his technical prowess was his concern for the comfort of me and my family. Many HVAC companies would look at those in my situation as a way to make even more money based on my critical immediate need, although Tim acted quickly and presented a few affordable solutions that did not break my budget. Dealing with VM was not only like having a good company to serve my HVAC needs, it was like having a good friend that I can go to when I really needed it. Thanks Veteran Mechanical (VM), LLC!!!!!!!

This past summer we were in 100+ temperatures and or A/C unit went out. I called Tim at Veteran Mechanical and he showed up very quickly to diagnose the problem. Tim had our A/C unit running in no time at all and the price I paid for the fix was very reasonable. Tim was very professional and knowledgeable about my heating and airconditioning unit and gave me some great advise on preventive maintenance. I would give Vetenarian Mechanical and Tim an excellent rating and will be calling him for any future repairs to my A/C heating unit.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My service call rate, hourly rate and new equipment install rate are all fixed. I charge the same price to a customer in Centreville as I would to a customer in Clifton or Great Falls. I also do not increase what I charge for after hours or weekend calls. I personally don't know of any other companies that follow these guidelines.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will thoroughly go over all of the customer's equipment, not just the repair, to let the customer know the overall condition of the equipment. Sometimes it makes sense to repair and other times to replace, but its always the choice of the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After I retired from the Army, I returned to school and acquired the education necessary to earn my masters' license in HVAC/R. I continue with my training at regional seminars to keep current with new equipment.
