Introduction: A highly respected photographer once told me, "I can teach anyone the technical aspect of the camera, but I can't teach them how to do what you do." She was referring to my ability to capture a creative shot. I have an artistic eye that can take images from beautiful photography to a work of art. Let me show you a new perspective. I enjoy the moment when my client realizes they are stunningly beautiful or the moment a parent sees their senior as an adult for the first time. Sometimes their appreciation comes in the form of words, but many times it is expressed through tears...it gets me every time. These moments give me a purpose for this work and love for what I do.

Jennifer took headshots of my teenage daughters on two occasions, as they changed over time. We also did a photo session for our family of six, for a centerpiece portrait. Jennifer's eye for just the right shot comes natural. Her knowledge of lighting, effects, and direction makes the photo session go smoothly. While always professional, the ease with which she interacts with everyone, allows true personalities to be captured by camera. I found this to be especially true when specific shots were needed. Jennifer kept the mood appropriate to illicit the reaction she desired from all of us. The sites she chooses are always appropriate and her attention to detail is unparalleled by any other photographer we've worked with in the past. The amount of planning and communication she offers goes above what we received from other photographers, as well. We liked her work so much, we asked if she would also photograph our home for listing pictures. Our home has been on the market no less than 4 times in six years. We have been swamped with showings this time. I have all faith that it's because Jennifer's attention to details, lighting, and perspective brought out even our home's personality! Clearly we recommend her for all your photography needs.

To anyone thinking about doing a boudoir photo shoot for your significant other or even themselves, I can not possibly say enough good things about Jennifer Lynn Photography. I was so nervous to book a session like this but after meeting with Jen in advance, she immediately put me at ease. She helped me with preparation and outfit planning, which dramatically cut-down on my anxiety level. The photo session itself was such a blast, the studio in her home offered so much variety, the photos are breathtaking and Jen created an experience that made me feel comfortable and like the most beautiful woman in the world. I am still in awe at how amazing she made me look and feel! The pictures turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined or hoped! My preview session was fun yet agonizingly difficult -- the pictures were so good that I had an extremely hard time narrowing them down so I ended up purchasing every last one! This will most definitely put me in the running for "wife of the year." I am so anxious to see the look on my husband's face! He's going to die! :) Thanks so much Jen for exceeding my expectations!

I had a wonderful experience during my boudoir session with Jen! I decided to step out of my comfort zone and schedule a session in hopes that the photos would turn out good enough to make a sexy photo book for my soon to be husband's wedding gift. She made me feel extremely comfortable right away and the experience was a ton of fun! I was able to view some sample shots in a very short amount of time and everything was ready for me to start working on my photo book project in no time! I would highly recommend Jen to anyone looking to make a special gift for their significant other. You will not be disappointed. She does wonderful work and is fun and professional.

Jennifer took my son's senior pictures during a 1 1/2 hour session, and the results were phenomenal! My son, Troy, is very shy and hates being photographed, so I was apprehensive about how the session would go. Jennifer made him very comfortable and coaxed some great smiles from him. Her choices of locations and poses were amazing, and we were all extremely pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Jennifer for a photo session!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is somewhat fluid at the moment. I am willing to work in almost any budget and adjust what I can offer within my client's financial comfort zone. There are plenty of things I can suggest to help save my clients some money, but the best experience will ring in around $500.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a client decides to book me, I want to get in touch with them as soon as possible to talk with them further about their needs and vision for the images captured. I will ask what they liked or didn't like about my own work they have viewed. I will also want to know if they have anything more or less in mind in terms of clothing coverage compared to the images I have posted online.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started off in this business as a self taught photographer. I am blessed to say over the last year and a half some other photographers who have taken a liking to my work, have allowed me to learn more from them by working along side of them. I am part of a network of photographers who all teach one another our best kept secrets of the photography world!
