FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system takes into consideration my experience, my equipment costs, my time for sessions and editing to create a collection that will be cherished for decades. I build my pricing systems to be affordable, but valued. Every session has so much time, funds and equipment knowledge invested, that it is expected that the sessions will be an investment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe that customer service is the most important tool of any trade. I want my customers to feel like family, that they are getting the absolute best treatment they could possibly have, no matter what the client has decided to purchase. At the first contact, I want my clients to feel welcome, appreciated and understood. After discussing what my clients have in mind for their sessions, I will give them an honest opinion on if I am the photographer for them, and if I can provide the photography they are expecting. I have yet to have to turn a client down, but I want my clients to understand what I am capable of, so we end our collections on a happy note, with both parties walking away happy with the products.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had a camera in my hands since I can remember. I had formal training though my 14 years in 4-H through the photography program, and course work by legendary professionals in the photography industry, such as Pye Jirsa, Jen Rozenbaum and Molly Marie. I am constantly working to improve my style, build my experience and portfolio. I truly believe that we never stop learning and evolving, and I dedicate a good portion of my free time to further education and field work.
