- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon booking your first appointment, you will receive an intake form via email to be filled out before you come in. When you arrive, you will be led back to the treatment room and we will go over your medical history, discuss your therapy goals and a treatment plan. Feel free to ask questions here, we want you to be completely comfortable before beginning. Hands-on time will be the full 60 or 90 minutes you booked for. Any time spent discussing treatment, payment, etc, is not taken off your time. You will then be given privacy to undress and get onto the table as instructed. Undress to whatever your comfort level is (I have clients who get completely bare, so fully dressed). You will be covered by a sheet and blanket the whole session, and your therapist will uncover one body part at a time as they work. The table will be heated and dressed in fresh, clean sheets and a warm blanket. Throughout the session, your therapist will check in with you about pressure, temperature, and briefly describe their findings. You are always welcome to ask questions! And remember; BREATHE. As the session concludes, you will be given privacy to stretch and re-dress at your leisure. We usually wait in the hallway with some water or tea. After you come out of the room, you and your therapist will discuss how you feel, collect payment, and discuss a treatment plan and rebooking options.
