FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Everyone's situation is different, so it's hard to price without knowing what the client wants. The only thing that's really standard are the press releases, which are $350 and include writing, distributing to local and regional media (there's an additional charge for national distribution ) and posting to social media.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with my customers (either in person, over the phone, or via Skype) so I can learn more about their business, their goals and expectations, and how committed they are to achieving them. I have a "get to know you" questionnaire that I have every client fill out and we use that as the foundation for building their plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a background that looks like a patchwork quilt--squares of different colors, but when put together, they somehow work. I've worked in broadcast news, corporate communications, non profit, tourism, and internet marketing. The common denominator is that all had a component of building relationships (either with business/community leaders) or media relations (pitching the media, writing press releases, etc.)
