Introduction: I am a 58-year-old guy with over 35 years of experience in the trowel trades. I can do most any wall patch inside and outside. I'm semiretired, so I prefer the small jobs. Give me a call, and I'd be happy to speak about your walls! I can fix chips, cracks, "squaring-up" of gaps/spaces around new and old doors or windows, and minor patching, inside or outside. I also can cover up unsightly wood and other surfaces such as old brick. No job too small!

I worked with Al on many jobs large and small, doing stucco, drywall and the newer systems using foam. Al's work was always complete, no follow ups, the jobs were left clean and profesional looking always. He is one of the most complete workers in this field I have worked with.

Al Did some repair & patch work for me at my house in Tequesta. I had a lot of chipping and even some holes that he repaired. He gave me a reasonable price, showed up when he said he would, and did a very good job for me. I have recommended him to several friends and would use him again.

I did not use Maltby's services because a relative of mine actually took care of the job before I had an opportunity to officially hire Maltby. However, I give him 5 stars because he provided me with excellent customer service when I contacted him about the job. He responded immediately to all of my questions. He then provided a very reasonable rate for the work, and his availability to do the work was very flexible. I would have definitely hired him if my cousin had not come along and done the work for me for free.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Introduce myself and after a phone conversation, physically look at the job. Many times it's not necessary for the customer to be present if they choose not to.I can ascertain what needs to be done, how much it will cost, then get back to them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
35+ years experience in commercial & residential applications.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started as a laborer at 20 yrs old, then an apprentice for about 10 years, then leadman/journeyman/foreman
