Jen has done many projects for me in the last few years, including kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom remodels. On all projects, she guided me through the design process to ensure I would be happy with the end result, including style, quality, function, and budget. Jen contracted out and supervised the granite counter installation, plumbing, and carpet installation, but did the rest of the design and installations herself. The kitchen remodel included granite counters, tile back splash, and new appliances. I had been tired of my light oak cabinets, but with her design knowledge, we found counters which made the cabinets look so much better. I had not realized the effect new counters could have! The living room project including new brick on the fireplace, fresh paint on the walls, carpet, window treatments, and decor. The bathroom remodel included new flooring, lighting, counters, back splash, wall color, window treatments, and painted cabinets. The bedroom project included carpet, window treatments, wall color, and decor.

We had Jennifer paint and fix many wall imperfections as well as carpenter work after water damage. She is a perfectionist and we would recommend her. No job seems to be too big or small. She truly has a talent and skill level you will definitely appreciate.

Jennifer updated two bathrooms including new sinks, counters, tile and painting. She also replaced a laundry room sink and painted. She is a meticulous worker, trustworthy and so easy to have around. If there is a need for additional work or changes to the initial plan, she always checks before proceeding. I highly recommend Jennifer and will use her again soon.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Many of my services have set pricing such as painting, flooring, tile & stone. Custom carpentry, repairs, design and cabinet/furniture refinishing are examples of services that require project specific estimates.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first like to meet with new customers at their home to get a clear understanding of the work desired. After our initial meeting, if project plans and materials have not been predetermined, I put together "option pricing" and estimated labor for various material or design options which will then be forwarded via email or a follow up meeting scheduled as needed. If all factors are decided in the initial meeting, I am usually able to do an onsite estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Though I do spend time researching new materials and techniques within trades work, my most valuable training has been through mentorship by master tradesmen and years of hands on learning.
