- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For ACT reading and English section tutoring, I want to know their current score and their goal score, and set up a schedule to meet. For college admissions essays, I typically work in four sessions: the first to learn about the student and their college admissions goals and to brainstorm ideas, twice more to develop drafts individualized for each institution, and again to focus on editing and polishing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in English and an MFA in writing. I worked in public relations for an institution of higher education for five years, and in editing and writing for a decade, most recently for Princeton University. I was a perfect scorer on English and reading sections of the ACT.
