My name is Justine Snyder and I am the proprietor of a small Woman Owned Business named SAGE REAL ESTATE Solutions. I had Dalto’s Constuction work on a very large rehab including the addition of dormers, of three new bathrooms, an entirely new electrical service, new plumbing, remodeled kitchens with all new cabinetry and flooring through the entire house. The older house required som additional structural stabilization and Dalto was able to work with the engineers and the town inspectors to correct a rather complicated set of issues. I would recommend Dalto’s Constuction for any small or large project that you may be considering. His staff were always polite, comptent and on time. They even worked overtime and weekends to meet schedules and deadlines. Another outstanding feature about Dalto”s Constuction is that he communicates on a daily basis about where the project is currently, and what the project needs going forward, as well as helpful hints on what current styles are popular in similar projects. The original scope of the project was to pull up old wooden deck boards that had been poorly maintained by previous owners and replace with new composite decking material, on both the front porch and rear deck. Dalto and his team were extraordinarily professional. The project ran into a few stumbling blocks but he handled every issue with calm, confidence and above all, lots of communication. During the initial quote/proposal phase Dalto noticed several red flags in the original structure, and warned us that there was going to be an element of uncertainty with the project. Of all the contractors we spoke with he was the only one to speak candidly about what was needed to make the deck a safe and relaxing place to spend time in the summer. We decided to proceed and were shocked when the construction permit was pulled and we discovered that the existing deck had been built illegally by the previous owner and would not pass an inspection. Dalto helped put our minds at ease that he would take care of everything, kept us informed through the whole process. There were some serious safety issues that had to be resolved ( as an example, they had to dig all new footings because the existing ones were not deep or wide enough to hold the weight of the deck). Throughout the process Dalto always sent updates about progress, schedules and timing. His team was incredibly hard working, efficient and polite. I never had to wonder where they were or what the status was. At the project conclusion we passed town inspection with flying colors. The end result is a BEAUTIFUL back deck for us to enjoy privately and a completely refreshed look at the front of the house with the new front porch. We also added on a project to renovate the back entry/mud room, refinish interior stairwell, and paint interior hallway. I don't have before/after photos of that part, but it came out amazing. Dalto will always be my first call for any work that needs to be done. I've already referred him to 2 friends who have construction projects and thinking ahead to other projects for next year...
