- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I do. For most tutoring needs my hourly rate is between $40-60 though It can be adjusted depending on lesson duration (multi-hour lessons), location (in person / online). I can do price estimation for whole course as well (non-hourly base). For other needs (Science, technical. professional consulting) we can do estimation based on particular project or work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Inquire about and specify their particular needs, time scale, capabilities (including financial); Help customers to set reasonable goals they can achieve in given time frame and with existing capabilities. For tutoring: set course goals, plan frequency and amount of lessons, offer appropriate form (in person or online, help with current home work or test preparation, proof/check or individualized course)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have PhD in physics (Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences), as well as published articles in top Science Journals. I served as Scientific Researcher, Assistant Professor, Teaching Assistant, Consultant, Teacher Trainer, High/Middle School teacher etc. My experience includes 20 year of research and teaching experience in Germany, Georgia, US, in particular Max-Planck-Institute of Nuclear Science (Heidelberg, Germany), Missouri University of Science and Technology (Rolla, US), Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University (Georgia) I received several awards and scholarship including Fulbright Research Scholarship.
