- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Shaun's Massage Therapy (SMT) is an in-home massage service. Standard pricing is $1 per minute plus a $5 travel fee. 1 hour = $65 1 1/2 hour = $95 2 hour = $125
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduate from the Texas Center for Massage Therapy. TCMT is a 1 year program that teaches the many modalities of massage therapy such as Sweedish, Sports, Thai, Reflexology, Accupressure, Cranial/Sacral and others. TCMT also teaches Anatomy, Physiology and Buisness. In order to graduate I had to log 105 hours of massage in clinic.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked as a nursing assistant then equipment technician in the operating room of M. D. Anderson Cancer Center where I discovered my interest in the human body. As an athlete I had knee and shoulder pain that I just could not get rid of until I started receving regular massage treatments. After a few weeks my pain diminished and I was back to my old self. I decided to learn massage and do my part in healing people in the way I was healed
