As a student transitioning into a professional career, working with Jessica was so helpful. She is honest, bubbly, and fun, and will make the time you spend with her fly by. She was great at going through my entire closet with me, and even took my clothes to a secondhand store to sell what she could for me before then dropping off the items to be donated. She was conscientious at working with my student budget by also taking me to second hand stores to shop. I was impressed with her eye for picking out perfect stuff in that environment! Most importantly, she helped preserve my casual, earthy style and translated it into office-appropriate looks. I feel professional and yet still cool and comfortable...win-win! She still thinks of me and texts me pictures of pieces she thinks I will like- awesome!

As someone about to transition to retirement, Jessica helped me go through a closet that was heavily weighted towards business wear and we determined how some of those items could be re-purposed into a more casual identity. She was helpful giving me that final push to donate items I shouldnt be keeping (worn, redundant, impractical, ill-fitting, not complimentary to my tone, etc.) yet had been unable to previously part with for one bad excuse or another. Between reducing the unneeded items , showing me what items and outfits worked best for me, and what not to wear, I feel a load has been lifted, and certainly have a more positive outlook on what I can and should wear to look my youthful best even as I get older. When I finally retire and have the time, I'll be hiring Jessica again to shop for some new pieces to expand my casual wardrobe.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our consultation is free, and I encourage a call and in person meeting before we dive in to your closet or begin shopping. I believe good style should be accessible; I am a flat $100/hour fee, and will work with your budget on a case by case basis.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with people from all walks of life, from 16-65, from advising what to wear to prom, packing for trips, to styling looks for fashion shows and photo shoots.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently worked on styling a group of 8 models for a day-long photoshoot. Each model embodied a different persona, with the concept of the shoot being women's empowerment. It was a blast styling such different looks (activist, millennial, yogi, classic beauty, etc) on a group of women from varying backgrounds and ages. To take what my initial vision is for a look and see it transformed as it blends with the personality of the wearer is such a cool experience! The shoot was 6 hours, the prep was 8 hours in total, from concepting looks to working with the boutique to pull and loan clothing and accessories.
