I am in the Energy Industry and after being unemployed for over a year and a half, my self-esteem would best be described as “Encumbered by a low self-esteem, Bob took a job as a speedbump”. I love being a 56-year-old female, despite the fact that every article I read factually states that I am in the most unemployable age group possible. And while I am not turning down modeling jobs hand over fist, I am grateful that when I don’t put a sack over my head, no one runs for their life and screams in terror. All in all, life is good. “A picture is worth a thousand words”, and profile pictures are no different; they speak volumes. Using LinkedIn as an example, the first impression we make on a potential employer is based on our profile picture and play a part in the success of our job search. After I read that a recent study showed that we judge faces online after only 100 milliseconds, the pressure was really on and in less time than that, “Headshot” was at the top of my “Must Do List”. I submitted a Headshot project request on Thumbtack and received a lot of responses. Since most quotes were within a close proximity $ wise, pricing was removed as a deciding factor. My getting an impression of the Photographer which I did looking through their work. When I went to “Purpose Photography”, I was so enamored with their portfolio that choosing them was one of the easiest decisions I have ever made in my life. The hardest part proved to be working up the courage to actually have the pictures taken! Adriana was very helpful and beautifully patient during this stage. Considering that I am a transparent person, not at an all-time high, I couldn’t love more the “Me” that Adriana’s pictures captured and will be forever grateful. There is no doubt that Adriana is extremely gifted. Her pictures bring that “part of a person that shines from the inside out.” Photographers like Adriana are a gift, their pictures have depth and give the viewer the feeling that you almost know the person, just by looking at their picture! I couldn’t be happier with Adriana and Purpose Photography. Promise, the minute I have the funds, I will pronto spiffy schedule an appointment for "Casual Shots"! Thanks a million Adrianna! Adriana was so easy to work with and accommodated COVID safety. She made us feel comfortable in our couples photo shoot when one of us does like photos. When we drive home we talked about how we had some much fun doing with session with Adriana and Ben. Highly highly recommend! Our proofs came back very fast and are fabulous!!!
