Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I'm a lawyer whose focus is on helping you. Helping you involves learning about the case. It involves checking to see if the police officer violated any of your rights so that we can keep evidence out at trial or get a dismissal. It also includes having the State provide us with all the evidence they intend to use against you to determine if there is enough for them to convict you at trial. From there, we can use the facts of the case to possibly get a dismissal. If they offer a deal, you'll be able to use all of the information I provide you to decide whether you want to take that deal or seek justice at trial.

Tyson is a great lawyer. He is incredibly helpful and kept me informed about my situation throughout the entire process. He always responded to my phone calls and answered all of my questions. I would recommend him to anyone needing legal assistance.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My rates for criminal defense work are set at flat-fee rates. They change depending on the complexity of the case and the charge level (Misdemeanor A/B/C vs Felony 1st/2nd/3rd/SJF). I offer free consultations so that I can learn about your case to give you a fair quote.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to find out the general facts of the case by spending 5-15 minutes on the phone. I'll then meet with the individual and we can talk more in depth about the facts, the surrounding circumstances, and extraneous information that may be related. If the individual decides to retain me, then I begin my work, filing my motions and acquiring all the evidence the State has in their file. We attend the pre-trial hearings and work on the case until either it is resolved through a dismissal or deal or we go to trial.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How strong or weak is my case? How do you see your case being resolved? What are your expectations on how the case is going to turn out? Every case is different, and results differ based on the facts of those cases. It's important to realize the expectations you have of the outcome of your case and to relay that to the lawyer you may potentially retain to represent you. Stronger cases have a better chance at getting a dismissal and not guilty verdicts than weaker ones. A lawyer can help guide you on where on this spectrum your case may fall.
