Introduction: My design strengths include mostly print media and digital art. A few examples would be typography, layout and grid, packaging, social media content, branding and vector art. Other strengths include planning and strategy, creative and editorial writing, verbal and visual communications. I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Houston. I finished my degree with a 3.94 GPA which landed me on the Dean's List. I received the Best In Show award for graphic design at our senior portfolio show. My junior year I entered a Restaurant Concept Design Contest between the University of Houston and the Art Institute of Houston and won! My winning restaurant design is expected to be built in 2017. I love seeing businesses grow stronger and more successful! Strong branding and logo design can be the key to making that happen. The same goes for a strong marketing campaign. I love that some of the things I can provide my clients can in fact help them succeed. I also love the relationships I build by connecting with people. Some of my favorite clients are the ones who return to me time and time again with new projects! It's so important to find a designer who understands your brand and uses continuity in all of the materials that they produce for you. Once you find that designer that really gets you, keep ahold of them! I hope to someday be that designer for you. :)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am strong about communication. I will meet with or speak with the client regarding their needs for the upcoming project. Once we decide we will work well together, I have a short questionnaire regarding the project, in addition to a simple contract and 50% of the agreed upon payment is generally requested upfront. Once these are taken care of, I work diligently to provide the best quality work possible within the timeframe we have discussed. The final invoice is sent upon receipt of the final deliverables.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always known I was meant to be a designer of some sort, it just took me a little while to figure out exactly what I wanted to design! I started out in interior design, learned it wasn't quite for me, fell into graphic design as a fluke and LOVED IT! I thrived and really discovered who I was through the process. So I knew this was what I was meant to be doing! Now I love working with businesses to help them grow! I love learning from them while also providing my expertise and allowing them to learn from me as well! I truly feel we can all learn from each other in some way or another.
