- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? All projects are a fixed price based on the agreed upon scope of work. This is outlined in detail in a written agreement I provide prior to beginning any new project. This protects you as the client and me as the designer and ensures that we have a mutual understanding and agreement on the work to be performed. Any change to the scope of work by request may necessarily affect the price. This is always to be approved in writing by you before I proceed. The agreement also details the number of allowed revisions and pricing for any additional revisions required. This helps to bring the desired changes into focus and consolidates the revision process to save time for both of us.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Here is an outline of my process for working with my clients. 1. Brief online conversation via messaging or email about the scope of the project. 2. We have a phone conversation so I can get to know you better and what your specific goals are for the project. 3. After the details I have been discussed I will provide a detailed proposal/agreement outlining all the work to be performed and the final pricing. I may include various packages of work for additional services that might be helpful in achieving your goals. 4. Once the agreement has been finalized to your satisfaction a signed copy of the agreement and a 50% deposit are due before work begins. 5. The timeline is outlined in detail within the agreement and I adhere to this timeline very strictly and many times complete the work early. 6. Depending on your desired level of updates these will be provided along the way. 7. Once the project is complete the remaining 50% is due. After this is received I transmit the finished materials via the agreed upon method.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My degree is actually in physics and I worked in corporate engineering departments for many years. This gave me a very high attention to detail and professional code of conduct that serves me and my customers very well. I am a self taught artist and having worked in startup companies I have performed many of the marketing and design tasks through self driven learning.
