FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to contact my new customers at least once over the phone. This way I can give them a more detailed explanation of what I can do, and get a better idea of what they are looking for in a photographer. If possible I like to meet at least once in person before doing the shoot to put face to the name and go over any more details that may have been missed during the initial contact over the phone. I have a written contract that must be signed as well--this is to reserve the date in question as well as make sure all expectations are on paper with no unexpected surprises or changes. During the session: we have fun! I like to chat, try new things, and snap pictures at the most genuine moment possible. After the session I will follow up within a day or two with a sneak peek, request permission to post pictures on social media, and thank you for your business!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been taking pictures in a hobby sense for over 10 years, and as a side hustle for 5 years. It started off as being extremely interested in photography (I was the girl who hauled her camera everywhere for years), then people asked me to do their engagement photos, family pictures, senior portraits, etc, and the rest is history!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with real estate agents, laid-back friends, detail-oriented families, and complete strangers at a moments' notice. I have lots of experience asking questions and finding out exactly what a client wants for their photos!
