FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard rate is $25/hour. One approach that clients find highly beneficial is that I develop a customized workout plan that includes personal training sessions AND self-directed workouts. Very few clients can afford daily training sessions, so this approach gives my clients the best value. I communicate with my clients on a daily basis to monitor their progress, answer questions, and provide the support and encouragement necessary for a successful training plan. This gives the client the best of both worlds, hands-on training during paid sessions, and the support, motivation, and encouragement needed to successfully complete self-directed workouts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
From my perspective, understanding a client's goals and objectives is critical. I prefer to have an initial consultation where goals and other important topics are discussed. During this consultation I also like to clearly outline the services I offer. This approach helps me determine a client's current level of fitness so I can best chart a successful course while also allowing the client to understand what I can do for them. I have the expertise to create plans and answer your questions, and I love getting right in there with you and doing the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am in the process of receiving my NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) certification. Additionally, through the years I've been blessed to receive training from some of the best in the business. There's no substitute for personal experience with the various approaches you propose to clients. As a former competitive athlete, member of the United States Marine Corps, and lifelong fitness aficionado I have been able to merge the best techniques from all these environments to develop a toolset that will help you reach your goals.
