- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a price menu with set prices for furniture pieces and services related to furniture. Custom cabinetry is a bit more complex due to the vast array of a clients circumstances, materials, profiles, accessories and nuances. However, I start my pricing at a base initial foot price then add to that according to the clients needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My leads arive in my inbox via my website request more information box. After receiving the request. I begin a dialog with the customer emailing back and forth until the custiomer is satisfied with my understanding of there needs and any designs are agreed to. I may also visit the home to verify the space and to get to know the customer by meeting them and talking and seeing the personality of the home decor. I deposit is required at that point. A start time to finish calculation is provided to the customer. Photos and updates are provided throughout the process. Upon completion delivery is free for the majority of clients and I can also assemble on location.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ii was raised by two hardworking creative parents. My mother a clothing designer and my father a concrete contractor and a brilliant creative mind. I graduated from Trimble Technical high with a degree in commercial photography and minored in building trades in 1976. Worked in family construction business for 18 years and retired from Professional photography after 33 years in 2013. Upon retirement I started Timeless Wood LLC and built furniture in my garage. I began working for Grandeur Cellars in Hutto Tx. In order to learn more about cabinetry and how a large shop is operated. I out grew my garage and Grandeur Cellars invited Me to join them and move Timeless Wood into there facility, I did.
