- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While we do utilize a Standard Hourly rates for all employees, but our billing is based upon the value to the client and takes into consideration market factors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is always important to determine what services a new client truly needs and then price those services appropriately. Upon acceptance as a client, we utilize our workflow tracking software to maintain master client data and to track due dates of various client projects and engagements. We utilize e-mail, and electronic data to help with information exchange between our office and the client. We have had a presence on social media for 15+ years and accept credit and debit cards for payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Robert Bering, founder and owner, graduated from Ball State University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He has completed the AICPA Business Tax Certificate of Educational Achievement (80 hour program), completed the Certified Specialist in Retirement Planning (7 component exams), and is Certified by the AICPA as a PFS -- Personnel Financial Specialist (financial planning). He is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Mr. Bering also served as CFO for an Indianapolis based transportation company for 2 years.
