FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Brand image is so important to a Company's success. The same is true for individuals as well. As a Communication specialist, my job is to carry our that image, tone, and consistency as an Ambassador. When hired by a new client, my first priority is to establish trust. Unlike some, I am available to have our initial discussion immediately and at YOUR earliest convenience via email, Skype or telephone or whatever works best for you. Once we agree on the details, my clients now they are in capable and reliable hands!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a member of Toastmasters International, a global speakers bureau where I practice my craft weekly in front of a group. I also study under a speaking coach who trains me in speech delivery and body movement. As a hospital leader, I was trained by Studor Group's Leadership Development Institute. It involved ongoing intensives on managing staff relations and interpersonal communication. I attribute my ability to effectively communicate to most of the personal and professional successes I've enjoyed. I've focused my college and professional pursuits in areas where I've been able to use my writing and speaking abilities.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was about 14 years old, I started speaking at church. Realizing I was an effective communicator, my parents pushed me to read and to take drama and acting classes. I'm an avid reader, so I like to collect words. As I got older, friends would invite me to speak churches, non- profit events, and youth groups. As a professional, I've opened and closed meetings, made presentations to Senior Executive, and also provided patient care for any age which makes me adaptable.
