- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we begin with a telephone introduction to discuss clients goals and the scope of what they hoping to accomplish. It is most helpful, at this time, to discuss their time frame and budget for the project. Next, we select a convenient time to meet and create a plan to accomplish their goals. We can review their existing situation, discuss their challenges and what my approach will be to help them get their desired end result.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion for real estate / home styles. I love the construction process, having recently built our "dream home", I understand the challenges that present themselves on a daily basis. I sold real estate for several years before having my son (18yrs now..yikes) and looking to begin a business from home. I started a home sewing business, fabricating drapes for clients. I loved to sew, however, interacting with clients made me the happiest. Eventually I expanded into full service design. Combining my passion for fabrics, design and style, ultimately opening a Decorating Studio in Andover Center with a partner.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our business had grown exclusively through word of mouth, resulting in a geographically close client base. From stay at home mom's, to business professionals, builders and developers, we were fortunate enough to have a wonderful client base.
