FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Commissions in NJ are negotiable (state law) and I discuss this in person so that you know exactly what your paying for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process starts with a phone conversation to understand your needs, budget and timeline. The next step is to meet in person. If selling a home I would visit the home, discuss pricing and provide area market stats to give you a clear understanding of your neighborhood market. The timing and pace will depend on your needs and timeline.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
NJ requires formal training and licensing. Additionally, every 2 years continuing education is required. Throughout the year I seek other training opportunities so that I stay abreast of legal and market trends. Classes are offered by my local real estate board, attorneys, title companies and others.
