- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No, each project is unique and the hours required cannot be determined until the project is fully discussed with the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I design evening wear, costumes, stage wear, pageant gowns, gothic attire and many types of custom attire for adults. I ascertain from the client what their needs are, the type and number of garments needed, styles, time frame and budget for the project. Design ideas are then submitted and garment construction begins. In the event of personal fashion styling, a thorough interview will be conducted to ascertain the client's needs. There are many facets to consider when creating or updating a wardrobe.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in theatrical costume design, as well as over two decades of experience in fashion merchandising, fashion styling and custom-garment construction. I have also dressed celebrity and mainstream clients for almost three decades.
