FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process includes many steps that help me not only get to know the person, but build a bond with them in order to help them the best way that I can. I start with a consultation, and soon after I begin to give my personal expertise, and allow the client to tell me what they like/dislike the most. I then begin my shopping process (or wardrobe cleaning based on the job). After this, I begin the real work with the client; I style them and we end up picking what we like the most.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Art History, which helps me with the artistic side of this. However, I have countless retail experience, as well as styling experience, as I am not only a stylist working for myself, but I also do personal and bridal styling at a prom/pageant/and bridesmaids dress store!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been into fashion. My friends always called on me to help them pick out outfits for a special event that they had to attend, and then I noticed I could make a career out of this.
