Introduction: I have had 24 years of private teaching and coaching students as well as directing high school choirs.
I believe in singing from a good foundation which involves correct breathing, relaxation of the muscles involved, posture, and much more. I teach most every genre from Classical to Jazz, from Disney, and Broadway and Foreign Language to Contemporary Worship and Spirituals.
I prefer to work with children age 8- high school.
I love to empower others to sing and reach their potential, as well as overcome apprehension. I also love the confidence and freedom it brings to the individual not only when he/she learns to sing, but when they overcome other challenges in life. Expressing oneself through singing promotes confidence in many aspects of one's life.

Great quality voice lessons. She is truly learning how to sing properly. These lessons are not just a place for our child to learn a song, but to practice technique and discipline. She sets high standards while maintaining an encouraging and creative environment.

Kris is an amazing voice instructor! she uses the talents that God gave her and blesses each student so much! Not only does she teach people how to best use their voice, but she also teaches them how to perform!! We love her!!

Mrs. Kris taught me many things about my voice, my posture and even my strength. She's an outstanding voice teacher. Always uplifting and positive. She's partly the reason I'm so into music as a profession now.
