- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started at the age of 7 gathering wood and nails around the farm. we would be build tree forts and tare them down just to build somerhing new. as a very young man I found I had passion for creativity. if I could think it I can build it attitude. At 17 I started roofing in myrtle beach it was too hot so I tried my hand at painting with my stepfather. I was actually a natural, I'm hands on learner I guess that s why I excelled in most every construction trade. I have built houses now for 14 years for other contractors all phases from digging footers to fine finish crown moldings. I love that each day holds something different ,my buisness I get to mix it up whatever you may need we can do it. Interior /exterior finishes, decks, additions and restorations.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
All types a vast majority of my clients are summer homes/ moutain getaways. I love making someone's vision a reality. I always try to maintain a good buisness relationship between me and my clients and make sure they know what they are paying for is reliable quality craftmanship guaranteed no matter what kind of work to be done .. satisfied customers are always repeat customers
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The last big job was in July I did a full interior and exterior renovation on a small A frame cabin. To make it unique I cut custom facia boards to make a nice pattern. But what is really awesome is the round deck and handrail I built out of wood. (it is in my pics as Pait
